Miguel GarcíaMiguel Garcia – English Wikipedia disambiguation pages that contain accents and/or diacritics within main title headers can only be accessed on standard keyboards via redirects and thus tend to retain such accents and/or diacritics only if those are used by all the entries. However, on this dab page, three entries use the form "Miguel Garcia", not "Miguel García". — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 22:39, 2 March 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:13, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose, García is the correct spelling of the surname in Spanish, vast majority of people listed are hispanophones, and I'm not aware of a policy-based reason they retain such accents and/or diacritics only if those are used by all the entries. A redirect exists for those who can't or won't type an ⟨í⟩. No such user (talk) 09:23, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Main title headers of disambiguation pages are not necessarily governed by the numerical advantage of its entries. For instance, if the Charlie X dab page listed ten entries for Charlie X and three entries for Charles X, it would still be expected to be renamed "Charles X", with "Charlie X" redirecting to it, not the opposite. In the case at hand, taking into account the three entries with the unaccented "Garcia", the accented Miguel García should redirect to the unaccented main header Miguel Garcia, not the opposite. There are a number of such unaccented dab page examples — Juan Garcia (disambiguation) in particular, but many others with a mix of accented and unaccented names, such as the following ten: Bryan Garcia (disambiguation), Carlos Garcia (disambiguation), Diana Garcia (disambiguation), Diego Garcia (disambiguation), Eric Garcia (disambiguation), Felipe Garcia (disambiguation), Gonzalo Garcia (disambiguation), Ruben Garcia (disambiguation), Tony Garcia (disambiguation) or Victor Garcia (disambiguation). —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 17:42, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
